Something new every day

I was trying to write a headline and thought I'd use the word gypped. (Trust me - it worked well with the subject.) Wanted to be sure I spelled it right, so Googled and then consulted Defective Yeti when the first several hits mentioned the word had derogatory connotations. Seriously? Well, check out the link and you'll see I'm not the only one on the planet who didn't know this.
