ReplyDeleteThe Erics I know would not be so literal in their interpretations! The thing about this sign (that I did not see until AFTER I took the shot ... oddly ... digital camera) is that it is pointed perpendicularly to the road ... across the line of traffic to ... where? I was focused on the delayed bridge crossing and loved the dimension of the view, as well as the visual metaphor.
