I wonder

I don't think it's a mistake that my attention was grabbed early this morning by this article in the January 2010 issue of Smithsonian. Most interesting to me was the story about Tibetan monks who painstakingly constructed an incredibly beautiful mandala adn then poured it into the Potomac - all to "underscore the transitory nature of material life."
